Showing; RARE, A.C. PENN New York Pocket Knife 6467 Roger Bone Prest-O-Lite Knife. Made by A.C. Penn Company New York (ca.1914-1940). Vintage of this knife more than not is around 1920s thru 1940. The square hole in the bottle opener blade was designed to open and close the gas-powered Prest-o-lite valves on automobile headlights, which were common before electric headlights became the norm. The notch in the master blade does line up with the square hole of the bottle opener blade. The notch in master blade maybe factory or modified by someone. Knife measures 3-5/8 closed.
Overall condition of knife is good. There is a small piece of the bone scale missing at pin (see photo 2) and the bail at rear bolster is also missing. Surprisingly the knife is tight and walks and talks with a snap!
