Showing a WW II Camillus Blade Trench/Theater Knife No Marks M3. Overall is 10.5β with a 6.125β cutting edge spear point blade with sharpened 3.5β false edge and a copper handle. At the thickest point of blade measures .190". After some research this knife blade was made between 1943-1945, there were 3 distinct patterns. The first and early pattern had βUS M3β³, the manufacturer name, and the date 1943 printed on the blade. The second pattern was similar to the first, but it omitted the date. The third pattern, (the knife we show in this listing) which occurred sometime in 1944 removed the markings from the blade and placed them on the underside of the cross guard. For whatever reason the handle and cross guard was removed and the results are shown in photos.
