Showing a Military Canvas Spare M8 Rifle Barrel Cover. Vintage 1940's - 1960's. It measures 37-1/4 inches long and 3" inches wide, tappers down near the end to 2-3/4 of a inch. It is in excellent condition with some light stains. All snaps, seams and stitches are in great condition. The leather strap on backside is dry and photo 5 shows this, but still good and strong. The closed end has a leather plug (see photo 4) to protect the barrel and it looks as good as the day it was made. All in all this item is very clean, good one for collectors!
